Publications

A list of all my publicatiosn is available here in PDF format (opens in new tab) .

I regularly teach the modules that constitute our lecture cycle about probability theory, alternating with my colleagues. For three of the basic courses I have produced lecture notes, which can be downloaded below.

Lecture notes for Einführung in die Stochastik (in German) (opens in new tab)

Lecture notes Probability Theory (opens in new tab)

Lecture notes Stochastic Processes (opens in new tab) , with a chapter on rough paths

I also sometimes teach very basic financial mathematics, here (opens in new tab) are some lecture notes for that as well (in German).

These are the special topic courses that I have given in my time in Darmstadt so far: Markov Chains (using the book of Lewin, Peres, Wilmer), Interacting Particle Systems (using the book of Liggett), Statistical Mechanics (using the book of Friedli and Velenik). There are no typed lecture notes for these courses.

Finally I am responsible for the service module Mathematics and Statsitics for Biology, which I teach on a regular basis. Below are some lecture notes for that one, in German.

Lecture notes: Mathematik und Statistik für Biologie (opens in new tab)
