  • The main objective of my research is to understand fundamental properties of complex fluids and multiphase flows. For this, we develop methods for the computer-aided prediction of transport processes in multiphase flows taking into account the all relevant physico-chemical properties of the system.
  • Simulation methods are implemented in the Open Source C++ Library OpenFOAM®. Our research is focused on both methodological basics and technical applications, and aims at the development of high-fidelity numerical methods to cope with associated challenges in multiphysics.
