Upcoming meeting dates of the doctoral admissions board and deadlines

Meeting on 5 December 2025

• Submission of application documents by e-mail to promotionen@mathematik.tu-darmstadt.de no later than 25 November 2025, 1:00 pm
• Submission of the doctoral thesis no later than 2 December 2025, 1:00 pm

Meeting on 6 February 2026

• Submission of application documents by e-mail to promotionen@mathematik.tu-darmstadt.de no later than 27 January 2026, 1:00 pm
• Submission of the doctoral thesis no later than 3 February 2026, 1:00 pm

Meeting on 24 April 2026

• Submission of application documents by e-mail to promotionen@mathematik.tu-darmstadt.de no later than 14 April 2026, 1:00 pm
• Submission of the doctoral thesis no later than 21 April 2026, 1:00 pm

We recommend submitting the application documents to the Departmental Office at least four weeks before the meeting of the doctoral admissions board in order to request any missing documents or clarify any open question, if necessary.

Please note that only complete applications submitted on time will be processed. We also kindly ask you to contact us exclusively via promotionen@mathematik.tu-darmstadt.de.

Publication of the Doctoral Thesis after successful examination

• Register with TUprints and follow the instructions for publishing the doctoral thesis on the ULB page.
• Title page specifications
• Declaration on the transfer of rights to the dissertation (opens in new tab) (must be submitted in the original with a handwritten signature!).
• Please submit a printed and bound copy of your approved Doctoral Thesis to the Departmental Office.
