Thanks to the seminal work by Robertson and Seymour, we have a good understanding of the structure of undirected graphs with respect to the minors containment relation.
There has been significant effort to generalise or transfer these results to other settings.
In this talk we discuss what we currently know about the structure of directed graphs.
Most importantly with respect to butterfly minors, but also beyond that.
