Mentoring Hessen for female students

Goals:

  • To promote career development: Orientation and decision making in view of multi-optional career paths
  • Preparation for career entry, especially STEM (empowerment)
  • Increase the proportion of women in attractive specialist and management positions in science and business
  • Promotion of equality-oriented scientific and corporate cultures

ProCareer.MINT is the support line of the Mentoring Hessen program for female students.

The most important facts at a glance:

  • Orientation and support during transition phases to a master's degree, doctorate or career start
  • Components of the program: Mentoring – Training – Networking
  • One-to-one-Mentoring: Each student is assigned a mentor from business, research, administration etc.
  • Duration: 1 year
  • Number of places: approx. 130 throughout Hessen

Costs:

Initially there are no costs for the program, but the workshops/trainings offered in the program do cost:

  • about 35€ for a 1-day training
  • and about 60€ for a 2-day training (if necessary plus overnight stay and travel).

The trainings take place all over Hesse, so you should be able to reach them with your semester ticket. Within the scope of the possibilities of the women's advancement funds, costs incurred are also eligible for funding upon application.
