For female doctoral students (and post-doctoral students), the support lines ProCareer.Doc and ProAcademia are possible programs.
Goals:
- To promote career development: Orientation and decision making in the face of multi-optional career paths
- Preparation for career entry, especially STEM (empowerment)
- Increase the proportion of women in attractive specialist and management positions in science and business
- Promotion of equality-oriented scientific and corporate cultures

This program is about orientation and support in career development. The target group is thus female doctoral students and early post-doctoral students who are still quite open in their professional decisions regarding careers in business, research and administration. Costs:
Initially, there are no costs for the program, but the workshops/trainings offered in the program cost
- about 35€ for a 1-day training
- and about 60€ for a 2-day training (if necessary plus overnight stay and travel).
The trainings take place all over Hesse, so they should be accessible with the semester ticket or the ticket for state employees. Within the scope of the possibilities of the women's advancement funds, costs incurred are also eligible for funding upon application.
