OWO Team

The OWO team is made up of everyone who helps to make Orientation Week as cool as possible for first-year students. It works really well because we have a lot of fun together.

In order to make OWO so great, there are several things to do during and before OWO:

We design new sweaters for everyone in the OWO team, we organise the OWO party and pub crawls, we write plays and perform them in the OWO. We interview professors and other important people in Maths for the OWO Info. We go to FreWe (Freshers' Weekend) together, train our OWO tutors and much more.

So why should you join the OWO team?

  • To have fun with the rest of the OWO team and make new friends!
  • To give the next batch of freshers the best possible start to student life!
  • Because you want to have a cool OWO sweater!
  • To make more contacts in the student body or department!
  • Because you had a great OWO yourself and want to pass it on!

If at least one of these reasons has convinced you, you can come to our next plenary at TBA in the Mathebau. We also have an OWO Wiki where you can read about everything and where we organise our work.

The OWO itself is from 6 to 10 October. If you want to be a tutor, you should also keep the TBA in September free for the training.
