March 2017: We have released version 3.1 of polymake. You can also obtain it at github. Binaries for Mac are here.
I will teach Algorithmic Discrete mathematics at TU
Darmstadt in summer term 2017.
There is a new web form for the polymake database that gives access to the two currently available collections.
Aug 26, 2016: The polymake database extension has been rewritten. You can obtain the latest sources at github. The extension will be made a bundled extension of polymake, so further development is done on polymake.org.
February 22, 2014: The PolyViewer app to view polymake objects in a nice gui has been updated (still beta though). It now can compute new properties and connects to the new database extension. See here.
A first draft of the lecture notes on Lattice Polytopes
(joint with Christian Haase and Benjamin Nill) is
- geometric combinatorics
- toric geometry
- triangulations/decompositions of lattice polytopes
- discrete optimization
- algorithms and mathematical software
an associated researcher in the Priority Program "Algorithmic and Experimental
Methods" funded by the German Research Council (DFG SPP 1489).
- I am a developer for
the software system polymake for
computations in combinatorial geometry and related fields.
