Research:	Main topics of my research are in mathematical physics, more precisely in quantum probability or non-commutative probability theory, somewhere between operator algebras and quantum optics. Teaching:	My university teaching comprises mathematics, education of teachers, and mathematics in its historical and cultural contexts. More information may be found here.
Mathematics- School-Public:	Mathematics is omnipresent, but nobody takes notice of it … o.k.: almost nobody. Some activities to bridge the gap between mathematics on the one hand and school and the public on the other are described here.
