Main topics of my research are in mathematical physics, more precisely
in quantum probability or non-commutative probability theory, somewhere
between operator algebras and quantum optics.
A short description of my research topics as well as lists of recent and important
publications may be found here.
My university teaching comprises mathematics, education of teachers, and
mathematics in its historical and cultural contexts.
More information may be found here.
Mathematics is omnipresent, but nobody takes notice of it … o.k.:
almost nobody. Some activities to bridge the gap between mathematics on the
one hand and school and the public on the other are described here.
